the following important information as it pertains to qualifying for free or reduced meals for the 2024-25 school year:

1) In order to qualify for either free or reduced meals, you must apply this year even if you applied in the past. Note: As an exception, if you received a letter of eligibility from the school district, you do not need to apply.

2) If you qualified for free or reduced meals in 2023-24, there is a grace period for the first 30 school days. As a result, your 2023-24 status will remain in effect through Thursday, October 17th. Then, on Friday, October 18th, you will be moved to paid status if the district did not receive a 2024-25 application. However, if the district did receive an application and you met the eligibility requirements, then that new status (free or reduced) will go into effect at that time.

3) In an effort to serve more children and families, the eligibility requirements have recently expanded. Therefore, we encourage you to apply as there is a higher likelihood for eligibility in 2024-25 than in prior years.

The Pitman School District uses the LunchTime software for managing all student accounts. 

Click HERE for the Parent's Guide to Getting Started OR Follow the steps below to register for a LunchTime account.

1. Visit www.schoolpaymentportal.com
2. In the upper right hand corner, select "Sign up"
3. Enter your information
4. Next you need to link your child to your account.  First, select "Student Access and Cafeteria Account"
5. Click "Add Student" On the right
6. Enter zip code
7. Select your child's school
8. Enter your child's last name, first name, and school ID (School ID number can be found on Powerschool). Then Add Student.  Repeat at step 4 for each child.
9. Then return to step 1 above to enroll in the Pitman Insurance Plan

Once done, you can use:

• The "Student Access & Cafeteria Account" Page, to deposit funds, set reminders, or apply for Free/Reduced Lunch Benefits.
• The "My Account" to see a history of the transactions on their account & edit payment methods.
