Building on our unique traditions, the mission of the Pitman School District, in partnership with families and our community, is to educate all students through exceptional learning experiences to be discerning, ethical, confident citizens. It is the expectation of this school district that all pupils achieve the New Jersey Student Learning Standards at all grade levels.
Kindergarten registration for the 23-24 school year is open. All students turning 5 by October 1, 2023, are eligible to register. Please register using the link below. Everyone is invited to attend even if you were not able to attend the other meetings. The meetings have been very productive and we look forward to the continued discussion and the development of the final plan.
In addition to the regular Strategic Planning meetings, there will be two breakout groups that will be meeting to discuss plans for School Configurations and High School Sustainability. Everyone is invited to attend these meetings, which will be held in the high school library or cafeteria (depending on the number of participants) starting at 7:00 pm. These meeting dates are as follows:
Wednesday, February 22nd
Tuesday, April 4th
High School Sustainability
Monday, February 27th
Tuesday, March 21st

Please note that these meetings will not be livestreamed due to the interactive nature that is required, but these meetings will be recorded and made available to members of the public to view. Information on viewing these meetings can be found on the district website (www.pitman.k12.nj.us).
New Food Service Software
This year the district cafeteria programs will be using LunchTime software for managing all student accounts. LunchTime replaces Pay Schools which was previously used for this purpose. Parents will have the same capabilities they have had in the past.
Just a reminder that the federal free lunches for all students ended on June 30, 2022. There will no longer be free lunches for all students. Any student who qualifies for a free or reduced lunch will have to complete the appropriate application. Please click on the link for more information on LunchTime and free and reduced lunch.
